I hope that all the dads enjoyed Father's day. We didn't have many show up but those who did had some fun with the handicap matchplay. This coming weekend we have another 900 so time to register and prepare for a lot of walking up and back. Looking forward to a big turnout on Sunday.

I had a few hopping hazards on the range this afternoon. Thankfully the strong winds didn't drop any branches on the driveway or the range which was a very pleasant surprise. It didn't blow our new shed away either, thank goodness. It looks like Sunday should be a beautiful day so I look forward to seeing everyone for the handicap matchplay, don't forget to register.

We had a good turnout on Sunday with five doing the 720. A few shot the 50m, one at 40m and one on 30m. This coming Sunday we will be running a handicap matchplay. Don't forget 27th September we are holding an equipment repair and maintenance day including a BBQ. If you are coming to either of these days please hop onto Archers Diary and register. It is great that we have such a diverse group in our club. Members ranging in ages and bow preferences including bare bow, recurve, compound and yumi the traditional Japanese bow. This Sunday our club event is a 720 and we have a few members registered so far. If you plan on participating in the event please hop onto Archers Diary and register for the distance you want to do. If you are coming along but don't want to take part in the event, there is a listing for "I'll be there" so we know who is going to be showing up. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Thanks to a very generous couple of guys our new shed is finished and now in use. A lot of people, put in a lot of effort to get this completed, and we would like to thank you all. It is much closer and more convenient for everyone to get the target faces out on a Sunday morning.

We had quite a few show up on Sunday for our handicap shoot with one even shooting a perfect score of 720. This coming weekend is the working bee on Saturday and a field shoot on Sunday. If you are coming along on either day please register on Archers Diary so we know how many will be joining us.
