Just wanted to give a much-deserved wrap to the hard-working and rarely recognised Mat Vowles whose ongoing efforts behind the scenes keep our competitions going. There wouldn't be a club in ACT & Southern NSW Rugby that hasn't needed and welcomed his help over the years, and even when he's swamped, he delivers with calm, good grace and friendliness. He is no doubt swamped at the moment, but I thought it's well and truly time that he gets a bit of credit and thanks for all he does for our clubs and competitions.
