ESC Hockey Club ESC Hockey Club is a family friendly hockey club for players of all ages and abilities.

ESC is a family oriented club (9 teams fielded in 2019) with a long and proud history of promoting hockey in New England. The club provides opportunities for men and women in both the “elite” and “social” playing capacity. It fosters junior hockey by fielding teams for girls and boys in mixed teams at the younger age (usually depending on demand and individual ability), and then in age and s*x spe

cific groups according to the structure of the Hockey New England competitions. The club has a strong committee of volunteers, resulting in very low administration costs. All players and parents of juniors are encouraged to be involved and to assist in the decision making processes. There are a number of formally qualified coaches within the club, who are each year “matched” to the needs of each team. Every team has a manager appointed, to ensure that each team has an element of individuality while maintaining the structure and discipline needed in the coordination of such a large club. In recognition of the difficulties faced by some, the club applies a scaled fee structure considering age and to ensure larger families are well catered for. This presents an excellent and competitive value for money

Considerable emphasis is placed by the Club on social interactions of teams and players. Where appropriate, “fun” events are organised, and a heavily subsidised contribution to the end of year presentation night is included for all players. The club chooses not to embark on a tiring series of fundraising exercises, but instead asks its members to be involved, to enjoy, and to contribute their share of the expenses. Major Sponsor:

📣Great news everyone 📣
Senior registrations are now open and ESC and it's sponsors are making it cheaper than ever for all players this season!! The comp fee as well as the club fee will be waived for all players in 2026!! 💰💰

In addition to that, anyone that brings along a friend to play this year will receive an entry into our prize pack draw, as well as the friend!! More friends = more entries 👫👫👫
Prize pack includes stick, bag, shin pads, gloves and uniform kit, valued at over $450!

To be eligible, you and your friend must be registered by 5pm Wednesday March 18th, 2026. Winner will be drawn the same day.

ESC plays in the Hockey New England competition in Armidale. All games and Training Sessions are played at SportUNE Hockey Fields

To kick it off we are having a 'come & try' day.
Know someone that might be interested in playing this season? Bring them along for a morning of fun, followed by a BBQ.

Anyone new that registers with us for the 2026 season will go in the draw to win a hockey kit.

And that's a wrap on the season for ESC! The ladies went down today but not without a battle. Being short on players and up against the heat, they fought to the last second. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. Congrats to ESC Cetnaj on being minor premiers for this season though!
Thank you to everyone that contributes to the club to ensure everyone can play - coaches, managers, umpires and the committee. You are all superstars ⭐️ ⭐️

Supporters gather round - next Saturday the ladies need your support! Unfortunately, ESC Cetnaj went down 3-2 in a very close game today. This means they get another go next Saturday @ 1:30. Any support would be appreciated so get your pom poms and loud voices ready 📣📣

It is great to see ESC in the finals this year!

Congratulations to the ESC U15's Mixed team that played in the minor semi final on Monday night. Unfortunately, they went down in overtime but we are so proud of their efforts. Well done team!! 👏 🎉
