With our beautiful backfield being well looked after from our grounds team and our recent refurbishment of the McConville Centre, both internally and externally, we want to fix the last piece of the puzzle by replacing our rugby benches to be modern and long-lasting aluminium benches.

We want to ensure that the experience of spectators is enjoyable, so that we can welcome all visitors to come and watch our students play the game that they love.

For this fundraiser, we encourage you to "buy a bench" and we can put your family name on the bench to celebrate the contribution you made to improving backfield rugby pitch. If you want to double up with another family then that is also an option for your donation, please note that when you donate.

With 38 worn-out benches around backfield, it is time we replace them to enhance the experience of our spectators for our TAS community and visitors.

GPS Rugby on Backfield on Saturday, and Friday night NWRYR games at Doody, in Inverell, Tamworth & Gunnedah this week. We are certainly spread our across the district. Supporters welcome to all games!
Riverview are flying in for the 3rd Grade fixture on Backfield at 11.00am on Saturday- please come along to support the boys for this valued home game.

The Annual trip north for Sydney Boys High School is on this coming weekend- 19-20 May 2023. Fixtures occur across the school, and good news is the SBHS Opens Rugby squad has built up numbers this year, bringing a 2nd XV up to play TAS 2nd XV.
Come along to support our players- P&F are running a BBQ on Backfield.

Another fabulous TASRC for Under 12s Mixed, Under 14s and Under 16s Girls. With 53 teams there were over 1100 players, coaches and managers in one hub. The Team of the carnival, as voted by all other teams, was equal place the the mighty Dalby Under 12s and TAS White Under 16s Girls.

2024 TASRC: Save the Date 13-14 April 2023

Over the April Holidays, 45 TAS Boys toured the South island of New Zealand. The hospitality was wonderful from our friends over the ditch. More games were lost than won, but some close score lines proved our boys all improved over the tour. The tour included breakie with Crusaders and All Black player, Ethan Blackadder, and Crusaders newbie, Sione Havili Talitui. Crusaders & Canterbury coaches were on hand to pass on skills to all players and coaches. Many activities kept the boys busy and smiling. For staff, it was fabulous to see the growth in all players and to see boys forge new friendships across the year groups.
Thank you to Total Tours NZ for their assistance in making the trip a fabulous experience for all involved.
