Inverell almost lost their trails, as they ran out of volunteers. We all love our local races & trails, but every trail and race depends on the generosity and dedication of volunteers.
Join the club, ask how you can help or jump into a trail maintenace day. More help is always welcome.

We caught up with MTB clubs from across the country to find out how they manage the workload and keep the proverbial train on its tracks.

This weekend we're doing a Singletrack adventures social ride at The Piney.

The ride will be held this Sunday, 13th September, meeting at the Pine Forest Road carpark (https://maps.app.goo.gl/1z8vysQ9AZEYwiDy6) at The Piney. The ride will start at 10am, covering a distance of ~20km.

We're planning a post-ride afterparty with the delivery of pizza and drinks for the end of the ride. Cost will $10 per person, paid on the day.

The ride is suitable for people of all ages and skill levels and a great opportunity to come and check out some of newly opened and refurbished trails....

NEMTB General Committee Meeting will be held this coming Thursday 10 September at the Armidale City Bowling Club, starting at 6am.

All members are welcome to join us for a meal and discuss planning for upcoming events.

The Half-12 Hours In The Piney is coming....

After a hiatus of several years, the 12 Hours In The Piney is returning. Only this time it's a 6 hour race, half the previous event times.

The race will be held at The Piney (Armidale State Forest) with newly refurbished, extended or created trails providing a race loop of ~8km.

Race date is Saturday 14 November 2026. So mark this one in your diary.

The club is in the midst of planning for the event. More details will be coming soon. Watch this page for updates, details and how to enter.

Time to get your race-face on.....
