It has been wonderful to see our athletes & familes enjoying their Coles Bananas over the last few weeks!

When winning well sometimes means holding the umbrella, not the medal.

Loved this from Aussie Eleanor Patterson who supported her rival Angelina Topić, as the Serbian athlete nervously waited in the rain to see if she would share the bronze medal in the World Athletics Championships high jump final in Tokyo.

"It was a moment where I could really be a big sister to her. She was quite overwhelmed and it was so nice to be able to be there for someone through that." Eleanor Patterson.

A quiet act of sportsmanship worthy of any podium.

Our very own Erica Bevis is working on her officiating skills at the Oceania Masters in sunny Brisbane this week!

For those that aren’t aware Erica is our Centre Registrar, Records Ranking Officer & Arena Manager!

Erica also has her own children that compete every weekend

Dale is very pro upskilling our parents and we love seeing each other learn and grow in the world of athletics!

Ask your club manager how you can get involved at officiating at the next level.

Centres rely on the skills of parents and volunteers to ensure our athletes receive the best experience possible!
