🏉 SENIOR FOOTBALL MANAGER FOR ARDROSSAN FOOTBALL CLUB 🏉
AFC is seeking applications for the newly created position of Football Manager to lead and drive our senior football program.
This is a key paid leadership role responsible for player retention, recruitment, football operations, and helping build a strong and sustainable future for senior football at our club. Remuneration is provided for the successful applicant.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead senior player recruitment and retention strategies
✅ Manage player contracts and player points compliance
✅ Assist with football budgeting alongside the President and Treasurer
✅ Support the management and development of senior coaches
✅ Build and maintain relationships within local and Adelaide football networks
✅ Identify and engage potential recruits and key football contacts
✅ Strengthen the club's presence and reputation within football circles
✅ Attend games and football events as required
✅ Utilise the Trainstop recruitment platform to identify, track and engage prospective players
What We're Looking For:
• Strong football knowledge and passion for community sport
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to identify talent and support recruitment efforts
• Organised and capable of managing multiple football operations
• A person committed to helping build a successful and sustainable senior football program
Reporting Structure:
• Reports directly to the Club President
• Works closely with the Senior Coach, Football Committee and Executive
