Brisbane Bridge Centre Inc

Brisbane Bridge Centre Inc A friendly bridge club located in the Yeronga Memorial Park at Annerley. The Brisbane Bridge Centre is one of Brisbane's top clubs.

We are located in the Yeronga Memorial Park via the Frederick Street entrance. There is plenty of off street parking available. Currently we have a membership of just over 300 and conduct six main sessions a week. We cater for all ages and levels of experience, and have a playing session that will suit your needs. We guarantee a game, if you turn up without a partner, at our Tuesday morning, Tuesd

ay night supervised, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning and Saturday afternoon supervised sessions. On a Monday morning and Friday morning, you can turn up without a partner but we can only guarantee a game if someone else also turns up without a partner. At our Tuesday night duplicate and Saturday afternoon duplicate, you must turn up with a partner. It is appreciated that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the session start time. Complete hand records are available after each session. Beginners' and Improvers' classes are conducted throughout the year, with beginners lessons followed up with supervised play sessions. We also hold four congresses through the year with our major congress on the Easter weekend.

Announcement from the BBC Committee:

Our efficient, reliable and valued administrator, Chris Larter, has resigned from his position with the club in order to accept an offer of full time employment.

Chris has held this position in our club for four and a half years and has filled this role with diligence and expertise.

We are sure that all members will join with the Committee in wishing Chris all the very best in his future career and also to thank him for his huge contribution to maintaining BBC as a most excellent bridge club.

The Committee is setting the wheels in motion to advertise for a suitable replacement for Chris and we will keep the membership informed of any progress in that area.
