Bike Park is OPEN!
All the features and takeoffs are the same. We patched up the sandpits and washouts so now it's smooth, fast and grippy. Railing berm 1 no brakes is fun.

Thanks to for getting it done and Bush 2 Beach Plumbing & Excavation for their great job on the excavators. Nice to have an MTB rider on the tools.

Little kids might be tempted to play with the cracking clay surfaces and make them crumble. Please keep them off the track and its features (unless they're riding). Things will settle in once it rains.

Let's go 🀘🏻🀘🏻

Another busy Saturday! Great to see everyone from little kids pretending they're on a rollercoaster to core riders whipping the 20-ft tabletops.

The track has gotten sandy in places due to high summer usage and low rain. We've requested a touch-up from . Until then, watch out for the sand pits. πŸ‘€

On that note, we (the volunteers) are happy to announce that we are now the "Friends Of Anglesea Bike Park". This means that we can request more council assistance, whereas before we had to do everything ourselves (including fundraising to pay for it). Looking forward to working together to keep this iconic asset running nicely. Drop us a line if you'd like to join us. πŸ€œπŸ»πŸ€›πŸ» πŸͺβ›οΈ

Busy at the bike park! It's great to see some new faces, bikes and riding styles as the holiday crowds arrive. The track is running well and has something for all abilities, including those who go fast and big. To stay safe:

1. Don't walk or stand on the tracks - riders come around corners fast!
2. Ride within your abilities
3. Parents must supervise their kids. This is NOT a playground.

Have fun and see you on the trails. πŸ€œπŸ»πŸ€›πŸ» 🀘🏻

LOST & FOUND... A couple of wooden ramps have been left at the bike park. Thanks, but they are a bit small for mountain bikes. Might work for BMX. Feel free to come and take these before they are disposed of.

There's also a road bike... Doesn't go so well on the track....
