** Help Needed Please**
Helpers needed to put on covers the pitch at 5pm Friday (tomorrow) please. There is a big rain event predicted and Graeme is trying to save the pitch from becoming a total quagmire for the rest of the footy season.
We’ll also need helpers to take the covers off on Sunday 8:30am and then put them back on Sunday 4pm please.
*Many hands make light work, please help out if you can.*
Thank you, ACC

A note from George Gregory, Women’s cricket director at the Northern Districts Premier Cricket Club, “The Jets”:

This year in September we are launching the inaugural Darcie Brown/Tegan McPharlin Girls Cricket Academy for all girls in the Northern Suburbs and Country areas. The two players we have named our Academy after, have long represented the NDCC and also gone on to either play for the State or Australia. Both well respected players come from the country zone. The Academy is aimed at girls aged 10 to 14, however we will consider all applicants in the selection process. There will be limited places.

Please email: [email protected] to express your interest in the Academy. 🏏

Sharing this from the Angaston Football Club page - Jeremy was a familiar face across both clubs, a regular at Cricket premiership celebrations over the years and someone who was always there to support his mates, enjoying the moments that brought people together. A valued part of the wider club community. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, and his many friends.

The Angaston Football Club extends its deepest condolences to the Schultz family on the passing of Jeremy on 13 April 2026

Jeremy was a valued part of our club, playing his junior football at Angaston and going on to represent the club at senior level. He was always known as a friendly, happy presence around the club, someone who brought warmth and positivity to those around him

Jeremy faced his illness with great strength and resilience, showing the same spirit and determination that he displayed on the football field

While his passing is a great loss, the memories of his character, spirit, and contribution to our club will not be forgotten

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him
