With 2025 now underway, we're looking ahead to our practices over the next couple of months.

If you're interested in joining us save these dates!

Our practice locations are on public property, so while we endeavour to ensure a safe, on leash area - we can't control the actions of the public. If you've got any questions or concerns, please reach out to us to discuss these and how we can support you.

Practice fees apply, depending on your membership status fees may differ. For more information and to let us know you're interested in coming, please email [email protected] so we know to expect you.

Please note, some dogs may need to be vetted prior to joining a practice to ensure everyone's safety during practices.

We look forward to seeing you at one or more of our practice sessions this year.

On Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st April, GRC Melbourne and Empire GRC Club co-hosted a trial at All Day Dogs that included:

Social Responsibility Level 1
Social Responsibility Level 2
Spring Pole
Mill Race

We had an amazing field of competitors that gave it their all, showed how much they've all improved. And most importantly, put their training and relationships to the test in front of a great audience.

While many teams didn't achieve the result they wanted, we had a few teams achieve some passes and points towards their titles.

Jenn and Winston and Courtney and River achieved their Social Responsibility Level 1 title.

Courtney and River also achieved the first leg of their Social Responsibility Level 2 title, while Megan and George passed their second leg, and therefore, achieving their Social Responsibility Level 2 title.

And Gemma and Chief achieved points towards their Spring Pole Level 1 title.

A massive thank you to Prime Canine for travelling to Melbourne to judge/oversee this trial and to The Gumtree Studios for acting as our official photographer and capturing some amazing moments across all the teams.

LIMITED SPOTS! GET IN QUICK!

GRC Melbourne is proud to announce that we will be holding a Social Responsibility Boot Camp for our members, and others who'd like to get into the sport.

This Boot Camp is designed for dogs with very little prior training for sports, through to those who'd like the extra prep ahead of a Trial that will be hosted in autumn. That means, you DO NOT need to be a member of GRC Melbourne to participate.

Payment is required in full to confirm your spot.

We're capping numbers at 6 dogs to ensure everyone gets quality coaching to set them up to succeed in the Trial and achieve the Social Responsibility Test Level 1 title.

Who's ready for another Mock Trial?

GRC Melbourne is looking to hold Mock Trials every 2-3 months until we've got another signed off SR Judge, at which point they'll turn into live Trials.

If you're interested in the sport, willing to help out by being a greeter for us or just want to come and cheer on some of our members, keep an eye out for our Mock Trial details!
