A very special finishing touch to our Melton Rodeo Arena — Beau’s Bar.

Named in honour of Beau- Joel’s brother, Dave and Leah’s son, Clydees uncle, a nephew, cousin, and mate to many. 🕊️
A special peace to our arena and bar. It’s a place to remember him, raise a drink, share a story and make plenty of new memories along the way.

It feels only fitting that Beau’s name will forever be a part of Melton and the arena we’ve worked so hard to bring to life.

Here’s to Beau’s Bar — a special place for a very special bloke. 🍻🤠

Back in February 2026, Melton Rodeo Inc. was nothing more than an idea, a whole lot of passion and a family crazy enough to say, “We’re doing this!” 🤠🇦🇺

Fast forward to 3 October 2026, and we’ll be opening the gates to our very first Melton Rodeo.

We’re a family brought together by the same strong love for horses, rodeo, competition and country life. We wanted to build something from scratch that we could share with our community, competitors, families and everyone who loves the sport as much as we do. Based on Joel’s family property, we have been fortunate enough to start from scratch and give everything our own tweaks!

There’s been plenty of planning, plenty of laughs and our brains are going crazy- but seeing it all come together makes it worth it.

Our goal is simple: to create a rodeo weekend with a great atmosphere, good people and top competition — the kind of event people mark on the calendar and don’t want to miss.
