This one is going to be pretty special. ❤️

On October 3rd & 4th, we’re kicking off Carina Speedway’s 60th Birthday Celebrations — and we want to make it a weekend to remember!

Just think about that for a moment…

60 YEARS. 🤯

Sixty years since the very first cars took to the track at Carina, and all these years later, we are incredibly lucky to STILL be racing at this awesome little piece of Speedway history. 🏁

Generations of drivers, crews, officials, volunteers, families and race fans have passed through those gates — and now it’s our turn to celebrate everything that has made Carina Speedway what it is today.

🔥 So… who wants to be part of it? 🔥

We just want to take a moment to say a very genuine thank you to everyone who has given their time, effort and hard work to help with the catch fence upgrades so far.

There’s still work to be done, but every hour volunteered and every extra pair of hands is helping us get there.

Whether you’ve been at every working bee or have simply been able to spare a few hours when you can — we appreciate it.

People give up their weekends, bring along their tools, share their skills and just get stuck in wherever they’re needed. We know your time is valuable and we certainly don’t take it for granted. ❤️

Without volunteers, speedway simply wouldn’t happen.

So to everyone who has helped us so far — thank you. Your time, your effort and your support of Carina Speedway is greatly appreciated.

Our little bee has his boots on, the trolley is loaded and we’re back into it at Carina Speedway TODAY! 😂💪

We’re getting closer and closer to opening weekend, but there are still plenty of jobs to knock over — and every extra pair of hands makes a difference.

No special skills required. If you can carry it, clean it, move it, cut it, fix it or simply do what you’re told by someone who looks like they know what they’re doing… we’ll find you a job! 😂

Come for an hour, a couple of hours or stay for the day. It all helps.

🐝 Our little bloke is already on the job… now he’s waiting for the rest of you!

Yep… we’re at it AGAIN! 😂

The will be back at Carina Speedway tomorrow, knocking over a few more jobs and getting everything another step closer to ready for our 2026/2027 opening weekend! 🏁

There’s still plenty to do and, as always, jobs for everyone. You don’t need any special skills — just turn up ready to lend a hand and we’ll soon find something to keep you busy. 😏

Can only spare an hour? We’ll take it!
A couple of hours? Even better!
Planning on staying all day? We’ll feed you! 😂🍔

Every working bee has chipped away at the list, and thanks to our amazing volunteers the place is really starting to come together. ❤️

This one goes to someone who has gone well and truly above and beyond for Carina Speedway.

A MASSIVE thank you to Fletcher Smith from Bundaberg Towing. ❤️

When we needed the supplies for our new catch fence brought back from Brisbane, Fletcher didn’t make one trip down to help us out…

He made TWO! 🚛💨

That is a huge amount of time, fuel and effort given to help us keep these upgrades moving, and honestly, we don’t know where we would be without people like Fletcher continually putting their hand up to help.

Fletcher, we honestly cannot thank you enough. We appreciate you, we appreciate your support, and we appreciate everything you continue to do for Carina Speedway.

Another absolute legend helping us get it done. 💪🏁

Another working bee done and once again, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave up their Saturday to come out and get stuck into the jobs at Carina Speedway.

There is a lot happening behind the scenes at the moment, and the work being done around the venue simply wouldn’t be possible without the people who continue to turn up, lend a hand and help us push these upgrades along.

Whether you were cutting, carrying, cleaning, fixing, moving, digging or tackling one of those “while we’re here…” jobs — thank you.

You give us your time, your equipment, your knowledge and plenty of good old-fashioned hard work, and we genuinely appreciate every bit of it. ❤️

Without people like you, Carina Speedway simply wouldn’t be where it is today.

Now… about that whole “while we’ve got you” thing… 😏😂

We’re going to keep at it so we can have everything ready to go for our opening weekend, which means we’ll be back into it again:
