Sunday September 27 is our Fund raising day for Pink Ribbon. This day is a normal competition day however being shot off 18 meters for both events with maximum of 28 grams of shot. We have $1200 in prize money over both the events thanks to our sponsor Marto's Mangoes. There will also be a raffle to help raise money and we have 4 slabs of ammo already donated towards this. If anyone wants to donate to the raffle please call Bill Gall 0418 953 771. There will be free glasses of bubbles for all the women attending 🥂😊. Please wear something Pink on the day (you may pay a gold coin fine if you don't!) and lets raise some decent cash towards curing Breast Cancer.

Thanks to everyone who supported our Monthly Shoot on Sunday, we had around 40 in attendance for Trench and DTL.

Thanks to those who helped out at our Working Bee and on the day in the Kitchen, Bar and Office as well as around the Traps.

Thanks to our Sponsors Mike Carney Group as well as The Meat Barn Currajong and Phil and Michelle for their donations for our Raffle.

Our next shoot is our Trench Weekend.

Charters Towers Clay Target Club Annual Shoot over the October Long Weekend.

The great Northern tribes had an awesome 4 days in Blackwater bringing their talents to the fore and showing how to handle nerves and HOT weather, congratulations everyone and be proud of your accomplishments.

Monthly Shoot
Our Monthly Shoot is this Sunday 20th September, getting underway at 9:00am.

9:00am - Trench 50T

11:00am - DTL 25T DB, 25T PTS, 25T HC, 15PR Double Rise

There will be a working bee on Saturday 19th September from 8:30am in preparation for Sundays Shoot.

State S***t Carnival
Good luck to our members who are currently competing at the State S***t Carnival at Blackwater over the weekend. Scores can be viewed on My Clubs My Scores App.

The Bob Rogers Memorial 100 Target S***t Competition was ran with 5 squads taking advantage of the cool weather, though wind gusts did have a say in the final results.

Thanks to The Roger’s Family, Glenn Reeves Electrical, TRADER GSM Electrical - Australia Pty Ltd and CNW Electrical Townsville for their support of this event.

The ACTA Ladies Taipan Shield event takes place annually with Townsville submitting teams in recent years, coming third in 2022 and Second in 2023.

If any more Ladies are interested being apart of this please either form an additional team or let us know individually by emailing the Secretary.
