Mission Statement
Beaudesert Pistol Club (BPC) has been in continuous operation since 1963 and operates by paid up members for the benefit of members and visiting athletes. The club owned facility is located within the Vey and Judy Payne Shooting complex – 281 Brooklands Road Allenview. The centre hosts a clubhouse, with full kitchen facilities. Four dedicated ranges for ISSF pistol events, Includ
ing a 10M Air range. A 50m Free pistol range and 25M Rapid Fire range for those with an eye to represent Australia at the Olympic games. In addition a 25M range for Centre Fire and Standard pistol competitions. Beaudesert Pistol Club provides members of the local community and surrounding areas a venue in which they can from the age of eleven until well into their senior years enjoy the comradery of fellow members and visitors who have a common interest in ISSF pistol shooting. The club competition calendar provides licensed shooters, able bodied and disabled an approved range facility by Weapons Licensing (Qld Police Service) an opportunity to compete in grade in a number of hand gun competitions in maintenance of their weapons license. The club supports Open Shoots, which run over several days attracting competitors from all over Queensland and Northern NSW
The club has a number of approved and trained range officers who run competitions, maintaining on range safety and in compliance with the match rules as set down by ISSF and Pistol Australia. The club also provides induction training for new members, Weapons Application training and ongoing coaching.
