Well done to all who came out today to play the Australia Day Ambrose. We had a field of 18 teams on what was a very hot day in the Alice. Congratulations to our winning team of Jordan Wishart, Doug McClure, Lee Arnold and Shaun Brown with a nett 54.625 round. Second was the team of Steve Hampel, Tanya Kirker, Oscar Jacques-Ball and Tiarna Evans with a nett 55. Coming in third was the team of Luke Neck, Luke Wilkinson, Sam Chun-Linn and Guy Clark with a nett 55.875.

Good afternoon ASGC Members. This weekend's competitions have changed slightly due to an oversight on my behalf. It is now Stableford on Saturday and Sunday, with a 4 person Ambrose on Australia Day. Shotgun start at 8.30am with a BBQ lunch to follow. Price TBD tomorrow.

Rain Update.

Good afternoon golfers, with the heavy downpour this morning carts will not be allowed on the course for the rest of the day. Pending no further rain carts should be ok for tomorrows competition however our team will reassess course conditions in the morning and we will ensure everyone is kept up to date with this.
However don't be put off by the rain, we still have our 2 indoor simulators available until 9pm this evening. Grab a mate come down and have some fun or do your own individual practice, dial in some numbers and even play the best golf courses in the world. NOTICE TO ALL PLAYERS

Effective 22/11/25 preferred lies have been removed with the exemption of holes 4 and 7 where on surfaces cut to fairway height or less you may take 1 grip length relief.

This is a big day for the golf club as it will be the first time preferred lies have not been in place for the best part of a couple years. This reflects the outstanding job our grounds staff are doing and there commitment to delivering everyone immaculate playing surfaces.

TOP GUN 2025 Results
Congratulations to Sam Rumpff who took out Top Gun today! Runner-up went to Tony Brown after we had to replay the 18th hole to decide the winner. Coming in 3rd was Tanya Kirker.

A big congratulations to all 19 participants, thanks to each of you for your patience as it is a long day out. There was some outstanding golf played today, you should all be proud.

On a side note we'd like to thank Steve (Pato) Paterson for assisting, and for Rob Brown being a spotter for many of the holes.

Lastly, this doesn't happen without sponsorship so we'd like to thank Craig Reid and Red Centre Technology Partners for their generous support which makes this one of the premier events on the Alice Springs Golf Club calendar.

TOP GUN 2025
The final round to qualify for TOP GUN was today with no changes to the standings. ASGC Match Committee will start to reach out to qualifiers to confirm their availability for next Sunday. At the moment it seems like we'll have a very large putt-off for the 40pt qualifiers. To be confirmed.
