United Ceylon Gold won the 1st T20 match in the Winter Cup 2026 against United Ceylon Blue. United Ceylon Gold scored 230/4 in 20 overs in the first innings. United Ceylon Blue managed 117/8 in 20 overs.

The Man of the Match was Chathura Siriwardana, who scored 148 runs including 14 sixes and 6 fours. The best performance for United Ceylon Blue was Ryan, who finished with 2 wickets for 32 runs in his 4 overs.

🏏 UCCC Extends Their Winning Streak! 🔥

We successfully restricted The Ghan team to 109/7 in their 20 overs. Big shoutout to Samindra Madushan for the strong start that set the tone early.

The middle order then approached the chase thoughtfully, losing just 4 wickets within 14 overs to secure a comfortable victory. 🙌👏

After losing our opening game to Alice Tigers Roar, United Ceylon Cricket Club bounced back strong with a dominant 239-run win over Alice Tigers Pounce!

Samindra Madhushan smashed a brilliant 142 guiding us to a solid 251/6 in 20 overs 🏏🔥
Then our bowlers turned up the heat — Namal Rathnayaka with a fiery 5 for 6 and Naveen Siriwardhana with 3 for 6, bowling them out for just 12 runs in 8.4 overs 💥

That’s how you bounce back! On to the next game!💪

CHAMPIONS AGAIN!!!

We are thrilled to announce that United Ceylon Cricket Club has emerged victorious in the Winter Cup 2024, defeating Alice Super Kings in the grand final! This triumph marks a sweet return to the top spot after a 3-year wait, and we couldn't have done it without the tireless efforts and unwavering support of our players.

United Ceylon Cricket Club delivered a convincing performance, setting a competitive total of 141/6 and then bowling out Alice Super Kings for 62 in 13 overs, securing a decisive 78-run victory in the Winter Cup 2024 final.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, whose generous support enabled us to reach new heights. We are also deeply grateful to our families and friends, who stood by us every step of the way, offering encouragement and motivation when we needed it most.

And to our amazing supporters, your cheers and energy drove us forward throughout the tournament. We share this victory with each and every one of you!
