That is why our U7 to U11 Watermelon Division focuses on 3vs3 cross-ice play, with a special twist to encourage team-first habits: every goal scored must have an assist! The best place to start is Meerkats every Sunday at 9am at Ice Zoo in Alexandria. It’s only $20 and includes skate and stick hire, so you can give hockey a go without buying all the gear first!

The rest of the equipment only comes once you’re ready to join a team… but as Tommy will show you, all that protection helps make falling fun instead of scary 😂🧊
