The chill us coming on the coast.

Sunshine Coast Police are set to brave the winter chill and make a splash, as part in the Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge on 30 August.

Our officers are joining with staff from several other agencies, who are all jumping into Kings Beach Pool in Caloundra together, to raise money for Special Olympics Australia.

Locals can come down to Kings Beach Pool on the day to show their support and watch all the action.

🌍💜 World SKDEAS Day – 6 July 💜🌍

Today, we proudly recognise World SKDEAS Day, raising awareness of Skraban-Deardorff Syndrome (SKDEAS), a rare genetic condition caused by changes in the WDR26 gene. There is no cure and no current treatment, and less than 5 in Australia and less than 150 recognised WorldWide.

At Redlands All Abilities Football, football is about more than the game—it's about belonging, friendship, and creating opportunities for everyone to be part of a team. We are proud to have a player in our football family living with SKDEAS, and today we celebrate their determination, courage, and the joy they bring to our club.

Every player deserves the chance to play, grow, and be included. Together, we can help raise awareness, promote acceptance, and build communities where everyone feels welcome both on and off the field.

💜 Join us in supporting individuals and families affected by Skraban-Deardorff Syndrome and WDR26 related conditions.
💜 Learn more, share their stories, and help spread awareness this World SKDEAS Day.

Because football is for everyone. ⚽💜

We support the Socceroos and the multicultural nature and inclusion in the World Game.

Sharing: multicultural NSW post

We are so proud of our World Cup squad but imagine if they were all goal keepers! The ‘world game’ relies on defenders, midfielders and forwards too!

Like any team, their different skills and diversity are what makes them stronger.

Whatever path these individuals took to get where they are today, they have come together to be our national team.

Go Socceroos!
