It’s been a big month for our club with Lauren, Jim, Katie, Darcy and Lucy going to Africa and playing in the High Goal competition. All of our players played exceptionally, ensuring they stood out on the world stage.

Lucy and her team took the win in the Women’s final after a tough competition against Katie and her team. Lauren and her team showed us all just how well the game can be played and gave everyone at home something special to cheer for.

Darcy played some outstanding polocrosse, walking away with a well deserved player of the match award. Jim and his team played a very well and won the Men’s competition.

After a couple of weeks of recovering and exploring the beauty of South Africa, Jim and Lucy are prepared to take on South Africa in the Men’s and Women’s AUS vs SA test series.

Our club is very honoured to have played a part in the development and journey of 50% of the squad - Abbott, Boz, Matt, Jim, Emma, Taylor, Lucy. You have done us proud.

With that AHPC wish the Australian teams good luck. We will all be cheering you on!

⭐️Bluegate Polocrosse Carnival⭐️
This weekend Albury send 3 teams and 1 super Subbie to Pretty Pine for Bluegate’s carnival.

Jackson had a ripper weekend in Subbies, making sure to let everyone know when he had the ball. Jackson spent most of the weekend out the back as a no. 3, stopping goals and giving the sideline lots to cheer for. Jackson’s skills were well recognised and he was awarded rising star in the Subbies.

Kendal, Summer, Bruce, Elsie, Tim and Mike had a fun and fabulous weekend in the C grade, making sure they got their money’s worth out of the carnival and having all 4 games. Kendal, Summer and Bruce worked very well together, display some beautiful polocrosse. Everyone quickly learnt the art of looking for a pass rather than going for the bounce. Elsie, Tim and Mike powered through all of their games, scoring heaps of goals and keeping the smiles on their faces the entire time. We are seeing lots of improvement from all of these players.

Chloe, Clare, Max, Ellen, Dylan and Fiona played very well throughout the entire weekend. Chloe, Clare and Max had a blast every chukka they played together. Max and her unreal pick ups made her unstoppable this weekend. Ellen, Dylan and Fiona dominated their chukkas. Dylan was on fire making sure no ball was left behind. Ellen was pulling out all of her phenomenal ball skills, throwing many goals throughout the weekend.

Erin, Jeffery, Cyle, Ross and Elissa played 2 outstanding games on Saturday, winning their first game in extra time with a very entertaining winning goal. Erin doubled up this weekend showing us all how the sport should be player. After a very intense and competitive final, Albury walked away as A grade runners up. Erin was awarded best horse and riding after a very passionate display of polocrosse throughout the entire weekend.

To top it all off, Bruce won one of the raffles. Well done Bruce!

In a thrilling B Open Final we have the young Charlie Spillane as our Player of the Match. What a game from Charlie as he played against a mentor and definitely held his own. And what a game it was with the scores locked at all of the breaks except the last, where Lake George pinched the win.

Our Sunday Round 2 Player of the Match goes to Eliza Hyde! It was a great match full of very young talent, Eliza threw goals all over the place, contributing to her side winning the D Open.
