⭐️Bluegate Polocrosse Carnival⭐️
This weekend Albury send 3 teams and 1 super Subbie to Pretty Pine for Bluegate’s carnival.

Jackson had a ripper weekend in Subbies, making sure to let everyone know when he had the ball. Jackson spent most of the weekend out the back as a no. 3, stopping goals and giving the sideline lots to cheer for. Jackson’s skills were well recognised and he was awarded rising star in the Subbies.

Kendal, Summer, Bruce, Elsie, Tim and Mike had a fun and fabulous weekend in the C grade, making sure they got their money’s worth out of the carnival and having all 4 games. Kendal, Summer and Bruce worked very well together, display some beautiful polocrosse. Everyone quickly learnt the art of looking for a pass rather than going for the bounce. Elsie, Tim and Mike powered through all of their games, scoring heaps of goals and keeping the smiles on their faces the entire time. We are seeing lots of improvement from all of these players.

Chloe, Clare, Max, Ellen, Dylan and Fiona played very well throughout the entire weekend. Chloe, Clare and Max had a blast every chukka they played together. Max and her unreal pick ups made her unstoppable this weekend. Ellen, Dylan and Fiona dominated their chukkas. Dylan was on fire making sure no ball was left behind. Ellen was pulling out all of her phenomenal ball skills, throwing many goals throughout the weekend.

Erin, Jeffery, Cyle, Ross and Elissa played 2 outstanding games on Saturday, winning their first game in extra time with a very entertaining winning goal. Erin doubled up this weekend showing us all how the sport should be player. After a very intense and competitive final, Albury walked away as A grade runners up. Erin was awarded best horse and riding after a very passionate display of polocrosse throughout the entire weekend.

To top it all off, Bruce won one of the raffles. Well done Bruce!

Sarah Cavill was our chief photographer this weekend, making sure to capture some great shots throughout the carnival.
