Is this the future of public swimming? 🌿💧
Travelling through Europe, I’ve noticed a real shift towards more natural places to swim.
With summers getting hotter, communities are looking for places to cool off — but there also seems to be a growing appreciation for swimming in water that feels natural, rather than the traditional heavily chlorinated public pool.
This is a public natural swimming pool in Italy. No bright blue concrete bowl. A swimming environment designed to sit within the landscape and be enjoyed by the whole community.
It makes me wonder — why aren’t we doing more of this in Australia? 🇦🇺
