Just a few simple examples of which foods are a carb, fat and a protein.

Super important to eat a balanced diet including both macronutrients and micronutrients so your body gets all the vitamins, minerals and energy it needs to move throughout the day!

Fun fact:
🥔1 g Carbs = 4 Calories
🥩1 g Protein = 4 Calories
🥑1 g Fat = 9 Calories

In order to build muscle, lose weight, maintain or whatever your goal may be inside or outside the gym, you need ALL of these macronutrients to help your body function!

💪🏼Benefits to weight training💪🏼

I always get the “I don’t want to get bulky” statement when I explain the benefits of weight training. What people, girls in particular don’t realise is they have to eat in a decent surplus for many months if not years to achieve a ‘bulky’ look.

But weight training doesn’t make you ‘bulky’ because building size is quite difficult since the average person doesn’t train hard enough nor eat enough.

Weight training has so many benefits and makes day to day life easier when going throughout your day!

✨Overnight protein weetbix✨

I’m on the go all day so it’s important to have all my meals prepped just to make things easier and more convenient for myself.

My go to breakfast is overnight protein weetbix and this is how I make it!!

Ingredients:
✨Weetbix (I use 2)
✨100ml of vanilla almond milk
✨1/2-1 scoop protein powder (I use )
✨yogurt (I use about 130g)
✨Toppings of choice (strawberries and cinnamon)

Method:
✨Crush up weetbix in bowl or container
✨mix almond milk + protein in a shaker and pour onto weetbix
✨stir your weetbix mixture, flatten it out and let it absorb a little bit
✨top with yogurt and toppings then refrigerate!

Super easy and convenient!
