Albion Park Swimming Club

Albion Park Swimming Club Albion Park Amateur Swimming Club is a proud local swimming club. Our season runs from the first Friday of November until mid March.

Weekly pointscore is each Friday during the season from 6pm at the Albion Park Pool on Russel Street. Hello & Welcome to - Albion Park Amateur Swimming Club

Albion Park Amateur Swimming Club is a non-profit sports club that has been part of the local community since the mid 1960s. Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive and fun environment for swimmers of all levels our emphasis is on our swimme

rs and their families enjoying themselves. We swim at the Albion Park Pool, in Russell St, during the summer months on Friday nights with races starting at 6pm. The pool is now solar heated so it stays warmer even at the ends of the season. We have events for the whole family with a range of events covering 25, 50,100, 200 and 400m including Multi-Class. Activities each Friday night consist of a Freestyle event plus two off strokes which include Butterfly, Backstroke or Breaststroke. We hold Individual Medley events throughout the season. We encourage parents to swim and offer a Parents race twice a year. We cater for all ages and standards of swimmer, from the social swimmer to those who enjoy some fun Competition. As the events are handicapped based on previous times, everyone has a chance of hitting that line first but the big emphasis is on the pointscore - bettering your own personal times. For those who enjoy the competition side of swimming we have the Club Championships towards the end of the season. This is where hitting the line first counts and brings out a little of that competitive spirit. For those who want to compete on a wider scale the Club participates at many Carnivals throughout the year at locations in the local region and across the state. Coach appreciation time πŸ’šπŸ–€

We want to give a massive shoutout to the incredible SC swim coaches.

As many know, we don’t have our own directly affiliated coaches, but a large number of our swimmers train with SC Swimming, including Macey and Ollie, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the impact these coaches have on our kids.

Kelly has supported so many of our swimmers for years, and what she brings goes far beyond the pool. She treats every child like one of her own, genuinely caring for them and investing in who they are as people. She’s not just focused on building great swimmers. She’s helping shape confident, resilient, well-rounded young humans ready to take on the world. The care, dedication and belief she shows never goes unnoticed, and it’s no surprise the kids absolutely love her.

Bailey has come on as a coach this year and the impact he’s had has been huge! The kids look up to him immensely, not only because of his depth of knowledge (which comes from his own incredible swimming success… if you know, you know), but because he’s such a top-quality person. He’s an amazing role model, and as parents, we feel very lucky our kids get to learn from him. Bailey says jump and the kids say "how high?" (can you come get them to clean their rooms?) Having faced and continuing to overcome injury himself, he shares a special bond with swimmers like Ollie, who has battled through two knee injuries and surgery. That understanding and support is just 🀌

There were times when others may have doubted Ollie’s return after such a serious injury (and we know some did!), but his coaches never wavered. They backed him every step of the way, kept his spirits high, and never let him lose belief in himself. That kind of support is everything!

And then there’s Macey whose performance has absolutely skyrocketed under their guidance. Her growth, confidence and results speak volumes.

These coaches are truly something special to the kids who train with them. The relationships they build, the belief they instil, and the care they show is reflected right across all levels. We are so proud of all our Albion Park swimmers, and seeing our athletes perform on the national stage makes it even more special knowing they are guided by such outstanding coaches.

Thank you, Kelly, Bailey and all the SC Coaches! We appreciate you more than you know πŸ™Œ
