It’s that time of year again, when our rowers are preparing to take on the mighty Murray and Darling Rivers!

Supporting the amazing work of The Flying Doctors our crew will be rowing over 70km in one day. Starting on the Darling, from Tapio station north of Pomona, through to the Murray, then returning to Wentworth, for a well deserved night of celebration.

It's in! 🎉 Our new long, community-style, table just arrived.

As part of the final touches on our renovation, we chose this table specifically so members have one big table to gather around.

The idea was simple: more table, more community. Turns out "more table" also means "very tight doorway." Swipe through to see the squeeze.

We're coming to the end of our club room renovation, with the final pieces being put in place this month.

This morning we had a fantastic group of people come and try rowing for the first time. While it was a little bit windy, everyone got out on the water, and quickly learnt the basics of rowing. An impressive effort! Well done 👏🏽👏🏽
Hopefully we see you all back on the water soon.

Come and Try Rowing! Sunday 26th April. 10am-12pm.
No experience needed. Supervised by qualified coaches.
Only $25 per person. 2 hour session.

This program is designed for women and men who want to try out the sport of rowing, in a safe, fun and supportive environment.

During the session you will learn basic terminology and an introduction to the rowing stroke and rowing technique. Our coaches will take you through the basics in the gym on the ergs (rowing machines) and then we’ll head out on to the water to get first hand experience. The coaches and other experienced rowers will be there to help in the boat and ensure everyone gets back safely.

A peek at the what happens on the ground at the Albert Park Lake Masters regatta 2026.

Y Rowing, the Melbourne Argonauts, APSM, Rowing Victoria, Umpires and a raft of volunteers put on a great regatta this weekend.

Competitors rose to the weather challenges and competition was fierce. Throughout the day they fortified with delicious sweet treats, a fantastic bbq and the end of day balcony bar.

The Y Rowing cake stall is all set up at the city end of the lake, for the Albert Park Lake regatta!! Stop by to pick up a sweet or savory treat, whether you’re rowing, umpiring, spectating or just walking past.
All proceeds go to fund our new gym equipment.
