Albert Park Yachting & Angling Club Founded in 1909, the club is the 'Premier' Snapper Club of Victoria and, being just 10 minutes from We are real people living in the same area.

Albert Park Yachting & Angling Club page is a place for all current and future members to keep up to date with club events, share their catches, and to celebrate what makes APYAC the premier Snapper Club of Victoria. Please abide by the following rules when interacting with this page:

1) Every post should be specific to the Albert Park Yachting & Angling Club. Consider, when posting, if

it is relevant to the APYAC, or more suited to your private page.

2) Treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required. If a post is not for you, keep on scrolling. Let us keep it positive.

3) Please do not use the group to complain or push a personal agenda. If you wish to raise an issue, please email the club directly: [email protected]

4) Use the search function in the group to discover helpful information in previous posts.

5) The APYAC Admin Team reserves the right to decline posts, turn off commenting, or delete posts or comments that violate the rules, or for any other reason as they see fit, with or without notice. If you block an Admin you may be removed from the group.

6) No photos or naming of minors unless it is the minor's parent posting.

7) New members requesting to join need to answer the questions asked and agree to the rules, even when invited by other members.

8) People with pseudo profile pictures, or names, may not be admitted as we want to know the real you.

🐟Yesterday was one for the memory books at APYAC.
Two of my childhood heroes - **Dawn Fraser AC MBE** and **Lord Ian Botham** - casually turned up for lunch!
Just when I thought a day at the club couldn’t get any better, these two absolute legends of sport turned up *together*. Ian, one of our honorary APYAC members, is always an all-round terrific person, and Dawn was every bit as warm, gracious and wonderful as I’d always hoped.
What a privilege to meet them both at our little slice of paradise by the sea. 💙⛵️
