💙💚 Wishing the Australasia U15 Girls Gaelic Football Team the very best of luck and safe travels as they, along with their families, head to Derry, Ireland for the prestigious Féile Peile na nÓg 2026! 🇦🇺✈️🇮🇪
The girls have worked incredibly hard in preparation for this amazing opportunity, showing dedication, commitment, and team spirit every step of the way. We couldn’t be prouder of their achievements already.

While the football will no doubt be a highlight, we hope the girls embrace every aspect of this unforgettable journey making lifelong memories, building friendships, experiencing Irish culture, and immersing themselves in all things Gaelic Games and Ireland. Whether that’s finding the perfect Claddagh ring in Galway 💍☘️, taking a cold plunge in the Wild Atlantic Way to reset those tired muscles 🌊🥶, sampling a famous curry chip and cheese 🍟, or simply soaking up the atmosphere of Ireland, we hope every moment becomes a memory to treasure forever.

Our Young Melbourne GAA U15 Girls Gaelic Football team are heading to Derry in 2026 to proudly represent Australia at Féile! What an incredible opportunity for these talented young players.

Tomorrow, two of our girls alongside one of our coaches, Brendan, will be joining 3ZZZ Radio to chat all things Gaelic Football and Féile 2026.

3ZZZ is Melbourne’s multicultural community radio station, broadcasting in more than 70 languages and connecting communities across Victoria through local stories, sport and culture.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums, grandmothers and mother figures in our Young Melbourne community 💙💚

From early morning starts, sideline cheering, washing muddy gear, endless snack runs and supporting every training session and match day, our club wouldn’t be the same without you.

What a day to remember at the Jim Stynes Game! ❤️💙💚🍀

Young Melbourne GAA were incredibly proud to be part of such a special occasion, honouring the great Jim Stynes and the remarkable legacy he left behind.

A huge thank you to the for having us and making our club feel so welcome.

Our Féile girls were absolutely buzzing to step out onto the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground as part of the day, a moment they’ll never forget as they prepare to represent Australasia in Ireland this June. What an honour and what an experience!

We were also delighted to meet so many wonderful people at our Come & Try Gaelic Football activation. It was fantastic to share our great game, meet new faces and showcase the spirit of our club.

The stage is set at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground as the Melbourne Demons take on the Brisbane Lions and we couldn’t be prouder to be part of such a special day 🙌

These girls have been putting in the hard work, training tirelessly as they prepare for their huge journey “over the water” to Derry this June, where they will proudly represent Australasia on the international stage 🌍

🏉 Young Melbourne GAA, Come & Try Activation at the MCG! 🇮🇪🇦🇺

We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting a Come & Try Gaelic Football activation this Sunday 19th April at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground as part of the Melbourne vs Brisbane “Jim’s Game”!

📍 Where: Paddock 19 (grass area outside Gate 3)
🕧 When: 12:45pm – 2:30pm

Our legendary coaches Carl, Barry, and Aisling will be on hand sharing their Gaelic skills (round ball) and getting everyone involved, whether you’re brand new or already love the game, this is your chance to have a go!

We’re delighted to be joined by our friends who will be showcasing hurling (funny wooden sticks) beside us.

It’s shaping up to be a brilliant afternoon celebrating community, culture, and the life of a much-loved Demon Jim Stynes. We can’t wait to see everyone down on the grass soaking it all in!
