One week ago we had a team of Wonder Women go to Perth and take on HYROX.
For some this was their first time, for some it was their first time doing a certain event and for some this was one of many HYROX events participated in.
I’ve been reflecting a lot this week and I’d love to share with you my thoughts….
👏HYROX is the most inclusive sport I’ve ever been involved in. I wish this had of been around when I was a teenager.
👏With the right training preparation anyone can do it.
👏The process, the journey, the ride is sooooooo much fun!! I’m serious!!! The training is varied and you never get bored.
👏If you’re not a runner, it’s ok! You can definitely walk it!
👏You can still do the training even if you don’t want to do an event, because it’s really good for you!
👏You don’t need to be a certain size, age or athletic type to join in!
It’s been an absolute bloody pleasure training everyone over the last few months! Our coaches have worked hard to prepare everyone. Our athletes have been so consistent, and put themselves first to nail this event.
I am so bloody proud of everyone! There has been a few tears, and few “oh s**t what have I signed up for “ moments, but we worked together, hashed it out and everybody absolutely slayed the day!!!
I have loved getting to know everyone even better and look forward to the next adventure!
Special shoutout to Cassie, my Hyrox partner. It’s always a pleasure!!
Thank you to our coaches Michele, Jas, Amanda and Darce for training and preparing everyone.
Perth was made even more special as my daughter Sophie joined in the fun doing her first doubles with miss Darcy Robson! You snuck in the minimum age range by 3 weeks! I’m so proud of you, and sorry for the tears at the end,you know I’m a big sook! You nailed it!
Our Just Move crew have been inspired and our Hyrox team will grow!
Watch this space, come join in the fun! More to come!
So happy for everyoneđź©·
