Please don’t think that people that exercise regularly necessarily enjoy it, love it, or even want to do it.
Regular exercise is the same as drinking water ever day, eating food, being human.
We are designed to move! Those that have made it to the side of regular exercise do it because it’s a not negotiable.
Being strong helps us age well.
Being cardio fit allows us to keep up with daily load.
Exercising with others helps us connect emotionally.
Not to mention a clearer headspace!!
You don’t have to thrash your body. Exercise needs to be sustainable.
For many years my main reasons to exercise have been to be a positive role model for my children, be able to keep up with them and to keep my head clear so I can sustain my daily load.
I’m essentially happier🩷
Do I always feel like doing it?? Ummm NO!!! But I know and understand why it’s a no brainer…just as essential as breathing!
