Well what a weekend for Jewell Motorsports. Both Sam and Braiden were back together for their yearly race meet representing the team at the 2023/2024 Formula 125 state title at Morawa Speedway.
Braiden had some very competitive opponents throughout his heats however he obviously hadn’t lost his touch and won two out of his three heats.
Sam continued his dominance and had a clean sweep and won all of his heats.
With the boys hard efforts during the heats it had them starting the title race on the front row. Sam jumped to an early lead with Braiden hot in tow. Braiden was under constant fire from Jasmine Ellis, Cameron Tester and Taylor Harris. Braiden made a slight mistake in turn four allowing the opportunity for Jasmine to capitalise and take 2nd position. By this time Sam had stretched his lead to take the checkered flag.

5th Taylor Harris
Sam also took out the Neville Allpike trophy for the highest points scorer.
