It’s over for another year!
Boorloo NAIDOC carnival, another year of fun, competition and friendships made & renewed. We had a great day of laughs and learning new skills playing against quality competitors in harsher conditions than what we are used to!
Under 12s made it to the Grand Finals and getting runner up, going down to a really strong outfit that were undefeated all day, girls hold your heads high you did Albany proud today 👏👏 huge congrats to you all and special shoutout to coach Cheri for your guidance and expertise in getting the girls to the GF and leading them throughout the day.
Under 14s led by coach Justine, finished third out of 7 teams, showed heart, grit and talent all day. Unfortunately slipping out of the two to get to the GF the team represented Albany with fierce determination 🤩
Under 16s also finished third narrowly missing finals, was up against some hard competition and showed fierce courage all day, led by coach Brad, each player dominating their position and competing with courage and spirit!l
Special mention and congratulations to Courtney White, named the Junior MVP of the day, this is Courtney’s last year as a Junior joining us in under10s, such a wonderful accomplishment for Courtney to finish the Junior days with such a commendable achievement! We love being apart of and watching your journey 😍💚💛 ❤️💛🖤
Well done to all the coaches, special shoutout to our super coordinator Cheri for bringing to altogetther and all the players and families for making the trip! You are all so incredible and for that we are grateful!
