IN MEMORY OF LYN (TROVATO) EVANS
It is with the utmost sadness that we inform all of our members of the passing of Lyn.
Lyn was a dedicated member of the SATD for more than 30 years her infectious drive and selfless hours of volunteering her time helped build a culture that was not just about dancing but about creating a community of dignity, equality, fairness and affordability where dancers of all ages and genres could meet and enjoy each other’s company.
To the Directors of SATD Lyn was our rock. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were second to none and something we will most definitely miss. Her beautiful attitude was the calming base of all of us especially when those unforeseen moments reared their ugly heads. We will miss your guidance however we will continue to carry on in your footsteps.
Lyn you were a lady of elegance and strength, you had that rare blend of courage and compassion that only a few people can master, and we are all better people for having had you in our lives.
