🛶 KAYAK GUIDES WANTED — AIRLIE BEACH | SUMMER SEASON
Want your office to be the Whitsundays? We're hiring a kayak guide to lead half-day and full day tours around Airlie Beach and the surrounding islands this summer.

What you'll do
Lead small groups on guided paddles (beginners through to confident paddlers)
Pick up and transfer from hotels in Airlie
Run safety briefings and basic paddle instruction
Share local knowledge — marine life, reef, island history
Help with gear setup, washdown and general shop duties

What we're after
Current First Aid + O2 certification
Drivers license
Kayak Qualification
Great with people — you're the reason guests remember the trip
Available weekends and public holidays
Bonus points for: light / medium rigid drivers license

Based in Shute Harbour, this is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—managing operations, supporting guides, maintaining gear, and helping deliver unforgettable kayaking experiences.

✔ Supporting and leading staff & tours
✔ Managing equipment and logistics
✔ Delivering great customer experiences

You’ll bring:

✔ Outdoor or kayaking experience (preferred)

Blacktip reef sharks 🦈

Shallow lagoons like Cane Cutters beach on the Half day tours are the perfect location to spot some black tip reef sharks and stingrays as the shallow water extends pretty far, they are super friendly and love to say hello 🤝🏼
