π€° I am looking for expressions of interest to run a weekly Pilates Class exclusively for our expecting mummas out there. ππ
π A weekend class either Sat or Sunday morning
π 1 hour long - 45 mins of low-intensity Matwork Pilates & mobility workout, 15 mins of meditative nap
Classes will focus on:
π»Hip mobility and Glute strength to help to strengthen and stabilise your hips and lower back to reduce pain as hormonal and growth changes increase instability
π»Pelvic floor activation, strengthening and relaxing - to help support the pelvis as downward pressure increases and increase your capabilities for both birth and post-natal recovery
π»Upper body mobility and strengthening ready to support the weight of heavier b***s, carrying around your child, breastfeeding
π» Yoga Nidra Meditative Nap - lying down supported with pillows and a cold eye pillow we will immerse ourselves in bliss for 15 minutes of guided meditation and breathwork
These classes will just be pay-per-class ($20) so no stress if you're not feeling up to it one week. The classes will always be the same level, it's more about maintenance than progression so you can't 'fall behind'.
If I get 4 or 5 ladies that are interested then I'll set up a class Evolve Airlie a beautiful space in Cannonvale, equipped with blankets, pillows and mats - so all you need to bring is yourself :)
Suitable and adaptable for all trimesters, all fitness levels - I promise it's nothing to worry about in terms of whether you can perform the exercises, that's what I'm there for :)
