Prelim results are in:

Fantastic games every week, so proud of these teams and players each and every one of them.

Placing results after the 10 rounds are:

1st Place - The Bustards - 22 Points
2nd Place - The Reef Runners - 20 Points
3rd Place - The Little Queenslanders - 15 Points
3rd Place - The Milkshakes - 15 Points
5th Place - The Rural Rulers - 8 Points

The finals games:

The Little Queenslanders Vs The Milkshakes – 12pm, playing for 3rd and 4th place overall

The Bustards Vs The Reef Runners – 12:50pm, playing the grand final for 1st and 2nd place

Trophy Presentations will follow straight after the games for all five teams who have competed in the Pelican Cup.

Please bring yourselves and as many friends as you can to make a great atmosphere for the players.

There are Medals for all FIVE teams and all players so please come along and cheer on the other teams, even if you are not playing.

As always there will be a sausage sizzle and soft drinks available to purchase! Dad’s will get a free sausage sizzle to celebrate Father’s Day!

Only a couple of weeks left of the Pelican cup and so we need to start planning our next adventure!

With the success of the Pelican Cup five-a-side, we have quite a few more registered plays in the over 9's group and so are putting out an expression of interest for a 9-a-side Competition in Term Four.

The Stingray Shield!

The Matches would be run on a Sunday Morning / Lunchtime and depending on the number of teams we end up with, will run for 7 weeks including Finals Day.

Final details will be worked out if we can get the numbers, we are aiming for 3 or 4 teams.

Huge Thank you to Coaches 'Ronan', 'Zena', 'Eli' and 'Renee' who stepped up to help our Over 9's group yesterday.

Also to Coach Sharna who is coaching our over nine Girls team who are entering a team into a Gladstone All Girls Gala in October... more to come on this one!
