🙌 VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

The OZTag Challenge is happening at Discovery Coast Sport & Rec this Saturday 12 September, and we could use a few extra hands!

We’ll be selling cold drinks and a few snacks (no cooking!) from around 10am–6pm.

💙 Join our friendly crew for a few hours, meet some great people, enjoy the action, and help support Sport & Rec at the same time.

You definitely don’t need to stay all day — even a few hours would help immensely!

If you can put your hand up for a shift, send us a message and let us know when you’re available.

Many hands make light work — come and be part of the crew! 🙌

🎶 Goodbye Winter, hello Spring! 🌸

What a way to farewell August! Another brilliant Open Mic Night filled with music, laughter, good food, and plenty of community spirit.

A big welcome to our new members, and a huge thank you to the fabulous Murphy Road, and our wonderful team of volunteers who make these nights possible. We’re so lucky to have you! 💙

And guess what? We’re doing it all again!

🏉 SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN IS COMING TO AGNES WATER!

Registrations are now open for the AFL Agnes Water Holiday Program at Discovery Coast Sport & Rec!

It’s a fun-filled day where kids can learn and play footy in a safe and inclusive environment — picking up new skills, playing mini-games, and even getting creative designing their own footy goods! 🙌

🏉 Auskick: 4–7 years
🏉 Superkick: 7–12 years

🏉 OZTAG CHALLENGER EVENT – AGNES WATER

There’s some great sporting action coming to Agnes Water this September!

The Oztag Challenger Event is coming to Discovery Coast Sport & Rec on Saturday 12 September, with mixed teams taking to the field for an afternoon of fast-paced Oztag.

📅 Saturday 12 September
⏰ Kick-off from 11am
🏉 5 x 20-minute games

Come down, find a spot on the sidelines, and get behind the players as Agnes Water hosts this fantastic event.

Bring the family, cheer them on, and enjoy some local sporting action! 🙌

🙌 A little time can make a BIG difference!

We’re excited to be using the new Volunteer Agnes Water portal to help grow our team of volunteers at Discovery Coast Sport & Rec.

Our facilities are managed and maintained by volunteers, and there’s always something that could use an extra pair of hands — from cleaning and gardening to painting, minor maintenance, helping at events, and keeping our community spaces safe and welcoming.

💙 No special skills needed — just a willingness to help!

Whether you can lend a hand once a week, once a fortnight, or even once a month, we’d love to have you.

Many hands really do make light work — and every hour volunteered helps us maintain and improve these facilities for the clubs, families, and community who use them. 💙
