Adelong Cricket Club Adelong Cricket Club Adelong Cricket Club (ACC) is one of only two senior men’s sporting sides in the Adelong township.

We play as part of the Tumut District Cricket Association and whilst we have an overriding aim of playing cricket for the fun & social interaction, we made the Semi-Finals in the 2015/16 season, bowing out to eventual winners Coolac. Our committee & players are devoted to engaging Adelong locals in summer sports &
continuing the proud history our town has of quality sportsmen & -women. We believe

sport is the best way to encourage healthy social interaction and promote a strong
community spirit. At the Adelong Cricket Club, we strive to foster relationships between generations of
players to ensure the club, sport & community’s longevity. Significant contributions from major sponsors are currently being directed towards a club house development at the Adelong Showgrounds that will benefit not only the Senior Cricket club, but also Junior Cricket and a multitude of other Adelong Showground users.

Today we take on wyangle in the big dance!! The game will take place at Stan Crowe oval Gundagai. 12 kick off, if you can get down to support the boys by all means please do, it won’t go unnoticed!!

The Adelong Cricket Club has held its 2021 AGM.
President Joe hardwick congratulated everyone on a great year on the field, making it to the finals and showing the depth and growth the team is capable of.
The treasurers report showed a net financial loss for the year due to no fund raising, however the club is in a positive position going in to the 2021/22 season.

All committee positions were declared vacant with the new committee elected as follows:
President: Corey Wilson
Vice President: Nathan Hardwick
Secretary: Tate O'Donovan
Treasurer/Registrars: Ben Hardwick & Nathan Hardwick
Season Captain: Tyron John Gorman

The outgoing executive wishes the new committee the best of luck in administering the 2021/22 season.

A general meeting will be held in the coming weeks to determine uniforms, playing roster and other aspects of the 2021/22 season.

Congratulations to the 2020/21 Adelong Cricket Club award winners:
🏏 Batting Average: Luke Berkery avg 158runs
🏏 Stick Award for the most runs off a single over: Corey Wilson 18runs v Family
🏏 Derek Nuss Memorial Trophy for the Best Bowling Aggregate, the team award for Aggregate and Average: Jordy Maher 27 wickets for an average of 10.48
Jordy also bagged a 5/28 v Commercial and
7/14 v Tumut Plains

And then it became the Tate O'Donovan show:
🔴 James Nuss Memorial for the most improved cricketer
🔴 Batting Aggregate 551 runs
🔴 Fielder of the Year
🔴 The Royal Hotel, Adelong Most Valuable Player

Congratulations to our mate Tate O'Donovan who scored his first ton: 131no, helping the donkeys win the last game of the season 173 over Lippers’ 168 - including ending with 2 sixes.
Well done Tate and the whole team on solidifying 3rd place & making it into the finals for 2020/21!

What (specific) upgrades might we like to the Main Street to make it more appealing, make tourists stop in town?
What (specific) needs for improvement do we have elsewhere in the town?

If you have any ideas, message the page and we’ll add it to the Adelong Accord: uniting community aspirations & needs.
