What a memorable evening at the historic Torrens Boatshed for our Head of the River Eve Drinks on 13 March 🔵⚪️

Set against the river and rich rowing heritage, it was a terrific gathering of members, supporters and friends, and a wonderful way to come together on the eve of such an important event.

The highlight of the evening was recognising the outstanding service of Don Sarah AM, founding President of the Blackmore Club, who has retired from the committee after more than 35 years of dedicated service. Don’s contribution to the Club is nothing short of remarkable. His leadership, commitment and passion have shaped the Blackmore Club in profound ways, leaving a legacy that will be felt for generations to come. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Don for everything he has given to the Club and to the rowing community more broadly.

The event itself was a great success and a true team effort. Sincere thanks to our committee and volunteers whose energy, planning and support brought the evening together so seamlessly. Events like this remind us of the strength of our community and the importance of celebrating both our history and the people who have helped build it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for such a special night!
