So much fun coaching these girls to develop focus, confidence and self respect.

Love the fun energy that they create while setting goals and helping each other to achieve them.

Couldn't be more proud of these little warriors.

Girls did a great job in BJJ comps...

Macy's opponent has five years of training on her, she travels around Australia competing every weekend for the last three years, apparently (according to her family) trains six times a week.

Talking about tough first competition! She was a bit smaller, so it did help a little.

Macy still put on one great fight. Did a takedown, got the position, scored points, was rolled over, then fought off an armbar, but got caught in the neck crank. Great fight from the little warrior.

She was super focused and did not allow her emotions to take over!

Charlee killed in both of her fights with strong dominance (higher belt and heavier).

Two takedowns, strong positions, got points and won with the choke the first fight and 6:0 points lead the second fight.

Next on the card are the Judo comps!

I said it before and say it again, Combat SAMBO is the most versatile martial art.

Truly Zen like environment...

Meditational rolling with the soft lights and relaxing music was great to encourage everyone to stay calm, smooth yet strong.

We are on to something here to make it more Zen like environment with practical aspects of Sambo and Jiu Jitsu rolling and MMA sparring.

Big thanks to APEX for inviting us to demonstrate "big and beautiful throws" and examples of positional fighting used in Sports Sambo.

It's a pity that SA sports federation deemed Combat Sambo as "too brutal" even for demonstration purposes. I was told at the last minute just before we jumped on the ring that it won't be allowed.

Either way, it was still a great day with plenty of different martial arts represented. Once again, thanks for hosting it and for inviting us to be a part of such an awesome event.

At new location in Mt Barker Zen Boxing is now offering classes in martial art that's responsible for some of the greatest fighters in UFC and MMA like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Fedor Emelianenko and many others.

It is a fun, physically demanding, and highly practical for self defence martial art and a sport with international athletes and clubs all around the world.
