🏀 NEW EPISODE 🏀

From Under-16 SA State Trials at the old Bowden Stadium to becoming Opal #53 and a two-time Olympian — Marina Wood née Moffa helped shape Australian women’s basketball history.

In this episode, Moff reflects on representing Australia at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games as a 19-year-old, her journey through North Adelaide and the Adelaide Lightning, and the people who helped shape the game along the way.

A special Mother’s Day memory from the WNBL season 💜🏀

One of the moments I’ll genuinely hold onto from the season was getting the chance to chat with Sania Feagin’s mum, Sherri, during the Adelaide Lightning season.

So much of the conversation around athletes focuses on what happens on the court — but behind every player is usually a support system that’s sacrificed, encouraged, believed, and shown up through every stage of the journey.

Hearing Sherri speak with so much pride, perspective, and love for Sania was pretty special.

A reminder that the game is never just about the players alone — it’s about the people who help shape them along the way.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums / moms, mother figures, and women supporting dreams behind the scenes every single day ⚡💐

🎙️Charlotte Whittaker - C3 x Adelaide Lightning 25/26 Season

Sometimes the most powerful move… is coming home.

After everything — college, Europe, injury setbacks — Charlotte Whittaker chose to return to New Zealand.
To reset. Rediscover. Reconnect with the game.

Suiting up for Mainland Pouākai in the Tauihi league…
that’s where the next chapter really began.

And from there — opportunity with the Adelaide Lightning.

Right timing. Right place. Earned.
