🏉 What a beautiful night for our final home game of the season!

The rain and wind held off, creating the perfect setting for a fantastic evening of football, celebration and everything that makes being part of the Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club so special. ☀️🙌

Our final home game of the season saw us host - AFL Masters. It was a fantastic contest, with great passages of play from both sides, plenty of impressive skill on display and some hard-fought football throughout the night. Both teams played in great spirits and gave the crowd plenty to cheer about, making it a fitting way to bring our home season to a close. 👏🏉

At the end of the day, the winner was football! ❤️💙

🙌 A huge crowd came out to support the team, and it was fantastic to welcome our past players and sponsors for such a special occasion.

Following the game, we had the opportunity to acknowledge and thank our sponsors for their incredible support. We also recognised the history and importance of our past players and the role they have played in building the Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club into what it is today. 🐂

It was fantastic to see so many past players reconnecting with the club, sharing in the celebrations and continuing the strong connection between the different generations of Bulls.

⭐ One of the biggest highlights of the night was the exciting announcement of the inaugural Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club Life Memberships, with our first five Life Members officially inducted.

🏅 Congratulations to RobertTanya Hooper, Jeff Low, Mark Boundy, Darren Crossman and Garry Anderson! 👏👏

It was a very special moment for the Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club to recognise our first-ever Life Members and acknowledge the significant contribution each of them has made to our club.

These five individuals have each played an important role in the history and development of the Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club. Through their years of involvement, commitment, friendship and passion for the club, they have helped shape the Bulls into the club it is today.

Life Membership is a special honour and recognises not just what they have contributed on the football field, but also the time, effort and dedication they have given to the club, their teammates and the wider Bulls family.

❤️💙 Hoops, Lowey, Pencil, Crosso and Angry — congratulations on becoming the inaugural Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Clubs Life Members.

Your names will now forever be part of the history of the Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club, and your contribution will continue to inspire the players who pull on the red and blue in the years to come.

🏉☀️ GAME DAY WRAP-UP ☀️🏉

After being asked if we could host this week’s game, the Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club jumped at the opportunity to play on their home deck! ❤️💙

After missing the last game because of a bit of a thunder situation ⚡😂, the boys were more than ready to get back out there and play some footy. Let’s just say there was plenty of pent-up energy waiting to be released! 😂🏉

And what a day to come back to it!

The Pooraka Superules AFL Masters Football Club were up against the Henley Sharks Over35s 🦈, with both sides putting on a hard-fought contest from start to finish.

The oval was in beautiful condition 🌱☀️, the sun was shining, and the footy certainly didn’t disappoint! There were some great passages of play, plenty of pressure, big contests and some amazing kicks for goal from both sides 🎯🏉.

At the end of the day, there was one clear winner…

❤️💙 FOOTY! 💙❤️

It was great to see the boys back out there, enjoying the game, having a laugh and doing what Masters footy is all about — playing hard, having fun and enjoying the day with mates 🍻😂🏉.

But game days like this don’t just happen…

A HUGE thank you to all our volunteers who put in the work behind the scenes! 👏👏👏

From getting the food ready 🥩, firing up the BBQ 🔥, serving everyone 🍔🌭, setting everything up before the game 🏉 and sticking around afterwards to clean everything up 🧹 — we simply couldn’t do it without you!

And a special thank you to West AFL Masters Football Club, Trinity Old Scholars Football Club and the Henley Sharks Over35s 🦈 for sticking around after the game, enjoying the BBQ 🍔🥩, grabbing a few beers 🍻, buying a raffle ticket 🎟️ and helping make it such a great day!

🔴🔵 MATCH WRAP – POORAKA BULLS MASTERS ON THE ROAD! 🔵🔴

🚗 The Pooraka Bulls Masters made the trip out to Gawler on Sunday to take on Trinity Old Scholars Football Club in what turned out to be a fantastic game of footy! 🏉

Unfortunately, a few late withdrawals meant we were left with only a couple of players on the bench 😅, but the Pooraka Bulls Masters dug deep and gave it everything from the opening bounce to the final siren. 💪❤️💙

🌧️ Considering the rain we'd had leading into the game, the oval was in outstanding condition. The wet surface made for a slippery ball, plenty of contested footy, and some terrific passages of play from both sides. 👏

🖤 Before the first bounce, the Pooraka Bulls Masters proudly wore black armbands in honour of the passing of the mother of one of our own, Darren Crossman. Our thoughts and deepest condolences remain with Darren and his family during this difficult time. ❤️

🔥 It was a tough, hard-fought contest from start to finish, played in the true spirit of AFL Masters. There were big contests, great teamwork, plenty of laughs, and some quality football on display. In the end, football was the real winner! 🏉❤️💙

🤝 A big shout out to Trinity Old Scholars for lending us a couple of players, allowing us to get some much-needed rotations throughout the game. That's the kind of sportsmanship that makes Masters footy so special! 🔴🔵

💙❤️ We also wish the Trinity players who unfortunately suffered hamstring injuries during the match a speedy recovery. We hope to see you both back out on the park again very soon! 💪

🌭 We were told Trinity Old Scholars had the best hot dogs this side of town... unfortunately they'd all sold out by the time we finished! 😂 We'll definitely have to get there a little earlier next time!

What a fantastic day of footy! 🙌🏉

The rain held off 🌤️, the big muddy patch in the middle of the oval kept everyone on their toes 😂, and despite the slippery conditions, both teams put on a great contest with plenty of skill, effort and sportsmanship. 👏

Our 🐂 Pooraka Bulls Masters proudly wore yellow socks in support of R U OK? Round, helping raise awareness of the importance of checking in with your mates. 💛 Sometimes a simple conversation can make all the difference.

It was a game enjoyed by everyone on and off the field, and we'd like to thank our opposition Superjets Aflmastersfor playing the game in the true spirit of AFL Masters. 🤝

A massive thank you to all our supporters, volunteers, families and everyone who came out to cheer us on. Your support means the world to our club! 🔴🔵
