The YMCA is a community based charity that delivers programs and services to help build strong people, strong families and strong communities from over 500 YMCA centres across Australia. We work in partnership with government, non-profit groups and partners to provide programs and services to more than 500,000 Australians every week in health a

nd fitness, recreation, accommodation, child care, camping, youth and family services. Our Windsor Gardens facility has a huge Gymnasium in which we run our gymnastics and parkour programs, and gymnastics themed birthday parties. Last week, YMCA South Australia celebrated with their 2026 Awards for Excellence at Jackson Square - The Venue, to recognise the people and services bringing local communities together ๐Ÿ†

On the night, State Sports Park Gymnastics took out the Active Excellence Team Award. "This recognition belongs to our whole team," said Haydn Bellamy, Recreation Development Manager. "It reminds us why we do this work. Building confidence and community, one child at a time, one class at a time, for everybody." Also, Seaford Gymnastics Program Director Jessica Guare too out the Rising Star Award further recognising her leadership and program development at Seaford Gymnastics - a truly well-deserved award!!!

For Book Week, we're inviting our Kindergym friends to dress up as their favourite book character. Whether you're a princess, superhero, animal, or magical creature, we can't wait to see you!

๐Ÿ’ก Costume reminder: Kindergym is all about active play, so please ensure costumes allow children to move freely and don't include accessories that could become a hazard on equipment.
