👏 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR WORKING BEE LEGENDS! 👏

A massive thank you to Justin, Andrew, Robert and Prue for giving up their time today to lend a hand at the club. ❤️💙

We managed to get a fair bit of mowing and whipper-snipping done, while Prue gave the clubrooms and amenities a much-needed clean, vacuuming and mopping throughout. 🧹✨

There’s still more to tackle, but we definitely made a good dent in it!

Want to know how YOU can help your club?

Helping out doesn’t have to mean giving up your weekend or spending hours at a working bee. There are always little jobs that need doing, and many can be done while you’re already at the club on a race or gates night.

🗑️ Emptying bins
🧻 Restocking the amenities
♻️ Sorting cans and recycling
🍃 Raking up green waste
🥤 Restocking the canteen
🍔 Cooking or serving
🏁 Helping with scoring or officiating
🧹 Cleaning and tidying up

There truly is something for everyone, and every little bit helps!

We really do appreciate all of our members who regularly chip in — whether it’s restocking the canteen, cooking, serving, scoring, cleaning, maintaining the grounds or helping run our club activities.

Cross Keys is our club, and being volunteer-run, it takes all of us pitching in where we can to keep it looking great and running smoothly for our riders and families.

The rain hasn’t stopped, it’s poured and poured,
Now the sunshine’s out — and the grass has SOARED! ☀️🌧️
Everything’s growing at a rapid pace,
And the jungle is taking over our racing place! 🌿😂

The grass has grown, it’s getting high,
We might lose a BMX kid riding by! 😂
Before they vanish without a trace,
It’s time to tidy up our racing place!

For rider safety, there’s work to do,
And many hands will see us through. 💪
Bring your mower, whipper snipper too,
We’ve got the fuel — we just need YOU!

The kids can rake and gather leaves,
Pull a few weeds and tidy with ease.
Big jobs, small jobs, short or tall,
There really is a job for ALL!

An hour or two can go a long way,
When everyone chips in to save the day.
So lend a hand, bring the family beside —
And TAKE PRIDE IN WHERE YOU RIDE! ❤️🚲

This Saturday, 5th September 2026, the BMX community comes together for a very special day of racing as we honour and remember Jamie Richards.

Jamie was a much-loved part of the BMX family, and this race is a chance for friends, family and riders to come together, share memories, celebrate his life

Round 3 Pedal to the Metal Series tonight!

For racing to proceed tonight we're looking for officials to fill roles and canteen. If you can assist, please see Kendall or Cindy.

Sprocket Motos will be run all before the break along with Mini Wheelers.

Lucky spot is on! Every week at racing we will be drawing 4 lucky spots in the break. There is 106 spots we've marked out on the track and the lucky spots will be drawn via the random number generator. 1st lucky spot will win 1 pack of Time BMX trading cards! The remaining spots will receive a food voucher for Guzman y Gomez and a cool gift!

There's a class for everyone!

⭐ Mini Wheelers - Balance Bikes & Beginner pedals
⭐ Sprockets - Pedal bikes 2-7 yrs
⭐ Novice - New to BMX then this one is for you 8-17 yrs
⭐ Challenge - Age

Please be registered between 6-6.45pm so that we can get racing going on time.

Canteen has you covered for dinner tonight! Chicken Burgers are on the menu tonight! All the usuals still available - hot chips and gravy, dim sims, chiko rolls, kids nugget pack, noodles, tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
