Badminton Australia have established a program to support increased awareness, participation and retention within Para badminton by engaging athlete ambassadors to act as visible representatives, mentors and connectors within their local Para badminton communities. SA's Para Ambassador is Zashka Gunson.

Badminton Coaching Opportunities (Paid Positions)

Scotch College Adelaide is recruiting badminton coaches to join their Summer Sport Program for the 2026/27 season.

You will work with students in Years 7–12, playing an important role in developing skills, teamwork and enjoyment of the sport. Trainings are on Thursday mornings or Thursday afternoons, and games are played Saturday morning.

CONDITIONS to enter the event:
*All current/ previous state representatives who have participated at nationals at any level are NOT ELIGIBLE to enter[NO EXCEPTIONS]
*State Development Program and State Squads are ONLY eligible to enter A GRADE [NO EXCEPTIONS]
*ONCE teams have been submitted there can be NO changes to the team content once play has begun
*If a player is injured or needs to leave early, another team member from THAT team will need to play double games or forfeit those games
*There can be NO substitutes for any team once the carnival has begun
*No 1 players are NOT able to play at 4th Position
