Difficult weekend at Rd3 of the Excel Championship.
Struggled for pace in qualifying resulting in disappointing result. Accidentally jumped the start in race 1 receiving a penalty before blowing up a gearbox in race 2 and retiring from the event.
Tough weekend but that’s part of racing.

Round 2 of Circuit Excel SA done and dusted.
Overall a positive weekend with some strong results. After finding good pace on a new configuration on friday, yet struggling in quali ended up in P16. Race 1 was busy with many battles up to P10, before dropping back to P13 in race 2 and finishing race 3 in P8.

Happy with these results considering we are a new father and son team still with plenty to learn!

Wrapping up Excel Nationals at The Bend.
Was good to get back out there on sunday after a challenging saturday racing.
Started 45th in the 40 minute final race and finished 27th.
Not an ideal weekend but was happy to finish and make progress.

Had a very difficult day in the Tufflift Hoists excel national titles today. Struggled in quali and race 1 with major visibility issues and then ended up in the wall for race 2. Damage all fixed and set to give it another crack tomorrow, hopefully not as wet! ⛈️⛈️
