This race start scored Diesel his second trip to the officials for the weekend 2 wheels outside the tram lines 🙈 ok if you say so 1st trip was for being 4kg under weight but fine next time with no changes lol luckily both decisions made no real difference to us.

Over the weekend we travelled over to the Wimmera kart club for our first VCS round. it was a fun event and a good learning experience we found ourselves running mid pack in the 26 kart field. every race start seemed to be hectic but with plenty of trips taken through the grass trying to avoid others.

Final day of FSC run and won congratulations to Abel Dutton on the win.
Diesel drove really well all weekend and in a proud dad moment crossed the finish line in 3rd place in the final. A massive turn around from where we were.
Unfortunately we did not pass the scrutineers with something that gave no performance gain The rear bar was too narrow😮‍💨.
But this is where dad got even prouder Diesel took it so well knowing exactly what we achieved over the weekend kids got enough lumps of plastic on the shelf anyway 😉
A big thanks to the pittam motosport crew for all the help and advanced motosport on a fantastic job getting our motor up to scratch.

FSC day one we have found our feet qualified 4th and finished the first 2 heats 4th close behind 3rd. Hopefully we can keep things going tomorrow.

Diesel successfully concluded the last season of Porsche Cup in fifth place in Division 3. He was looking forward to competing against a particular individual he looks up to although the outcome may not have been as anticipated. Enjoy his commentary reviewing how it went. 🤣

Just sitting around waiting for a race. Hopefully dads roster lines up with something soon good luck to all competing at the black plate event in Mount Gambier this weekend no chance of us winning a back to back black plate not that we have been competitive in juniors but Hopefully we can turn that around soon.

It was a wet weekend of racing at Barossa, but a good one; we seem to be heading in the right direction with our kart setup and are definitely closing the gap. A big thanks to all who helped with some advice, and to all the officials and volunteers for their time in making events possible, even in challenging conditions.
