Hockey Australia is pleased to announce the 18-strong Jillaroos squad that will contest the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Women's Junior World Cup this December in Santiago, Chile.

The Australian Under-21 women’s side could not be better prepared for the 11th edition of the pinnacle junior women's event, - which will, for the first time, feature 24 teams.

For Head Coach Tim Strapp, the Junior World Cup marks his first international tournament at the helm of the Jillaroos and a valuable test of the culture he has built in his debut year in the role.

Here's your Jillaroos squad that will be facing India in a three match series at the EPC Solar Hockey Stadium in Canberra!

All but four 2025 Jillaroos athletes will be participating in the series, with a number unable to attend due to injury or school commitments.

If you're in Canberra make sure to get down to watch the action live - no live stream is available.

Squad Announcement | Bold omissions and the return of star firepower headline Kookaburras Coach Mark Hager’s 18- man squad for next week’s 2025 Oceania Cup in Darwin.

With less than a year to go until August’s 2026 FIH World Cup, the already-qualified Kookaburra are prioritising international game time while welcoming back four key players from injury as they prepare to defend their title against New Zealand in a best-of-three Test series.

On This Day 40 Years Ago: Our Head Coach and Kookaburras legend Mark Hager made his debut!

Hailing from Maryborough, ‘Horrie’ became Kookaburra #272 when he pulled on the green and gold for the first time against England in Canberra — and even found the back of the net on debut 🏑👏

Across an 11-year career, Horrie played 231 games and scored an incredible 179 goals — both national records at the time of his retirement. He represented Australia at two Olympics (including a bronze medal in Atlanta), tasted success at World Cups and Champions Trophies, and proudly captained the Kookaburras.

Congrats Horrie on 40 years since your debut!
