A sad day for Pirate yesterday with a fire on deck carbon fibre burns fast. The damage is devastating and shocking! however no lives lost or injuries.
A big Thank-you to all those that came to her rescue: CYCSA staff, volunteers, fellow boat owners and fire department “Gallantry” crew. The fire was extinguished quickly saving further damage to other boats or property.
Needless to say “Pirate” won’t be on the water racing this season.😢
