Welcome to the official page of the Westminster Old Scholars' Soccer Club

WOSSC is a member of South Australia's Collegiate Soccer league, with three teams in the Mens competition, and two teams in the FSA Women's Community League. Our Club is based in Adelaide, South Australia, with our home ground at Westminster School, Marion, and training ground at Glandore Oval, Glandore. WOSSC is open to anyone looking for a competitive, social, welcoming team environment - all skill levels are welcome!

FIXTURES
Men's Div 1A & 1B Round 8 | Men's Div 4 Round 9

All three men's sides are back at home tomorrow!
Div 4 kicks off the day against Pembroke at 11am, followed by Div 1B taking on Adelaide Hawks at 1pm. Div 1A wraps things up at 3pm as they also face Adelaide Hawks.

Both our women's sides will be back in action next weekend!
Get down to Westminster and support the boys in a big day of football 💚

FULL-TIME

Our Div 2 Women kicked off the weekend in style with a 2 nil win over the ladder leaders on Friday night.

On Saturday, our Men's Div 1B battled hard and looked set for all three points after finding the net multiple times, but unfortunately couldn't hold on. Div 1A secured a hard-fought win, with also celebrating his 100th game for the club. Congratulations Matt on such a fantastic milestone!

Sunday saw our Div 5 Women take on Pulteney. After a close first half, the visitors pulled away early in the second, but the girls never stopped competing and put in a strong performance.

FIXTURES

A huge weekend of football awaits! 💚

Our Women's Div 2 side gets the action underway on Friday night, travelling to Ramsay Park for an 8:00pm clash with ladder leaders Playford City.

Saturday sees our Men's sides in action at Collins Reserve, with Div 1B kicking off at 1:00pm before Div 1A takes on Fulham at 3:00pm.

On Sunday, our Women's Div 5 side returns home to face Pulteney, with kick-off at 10:00am.

After the final whistle, join us at the Marion Hotel as we cheer on the Socceroos in their World Cup opener! 🇦🇺💚💛

A huge day of football awaits on Sunday 14th of June!
Start your Sunday off by supporting our Women's Div 5 side as they take on Pulteney at HOME, before heading to the Marion Hotel to cheer on the Socceroos in their World Cup opener against Türkiye on the big screen.

🕙 10:00am – Women's Div 5 vs Pulteney @ Westminster School
🍻 12:30pm – Glasshouse function room opens . Get in early to secure your seat!
⚽ 1:30pm – KICK-OFF! Australia vs Türkiye

The usual Sponsor Meal and Drink prices will be on, so make sure to bring your sponsor card!

FULL-TIME

A mixed bag of results across the club this weekend.

Our Men's Div 4 side had a tough day at the office, going down 16-1. In the women's fixtures, Div 5 put in a spirited effort against the league leaders but fell 3-1. Div 2 looked set to claim all three points after leading 1 nil for most of the match, before a late equaliser saw the points shared in a 1-1 draw.

All teams now enjoy the long weekend break, with fixtures resuming on 12th, 13th and 14th of June. We look forward to seeing everyone back out on the pitch soon💚

FIXTURES

Our Women’s sides are back this weekend with a double header at home! Div 5 kicks off Sunday morning against Sturt Lions, followed by Div 2 taking on Modbury Vista.
Men’s Div 4 head to the University Playing Fields at West Beach on Saturday morning to take on Adelaide Uni Grads Red, while Men’s Div 1A and 1B have the weekend off.

FULL-TIME

A tough day at the office for our men’s sides.
Div 4 fell 9 nil to Concordia, while Div 1B went down 5 nil against Adelaide Uni Grads Red. Div 1A put in a strong performance and looked set to earn a point, before Adelaide Uni Grads Red found a late winner in the dying moments

This weekend, Div 1B and Div 1A both have byes, while both our women’s sides return for Round 8 💚

Div 4 heads to Concordia tomorrow morning, while Div 1B and 1A host Adelaide University Grads Red in the afternoon.

FULL-TIME

A tough weekend on the pitch for our sides. Our Div 4 Men’s went down 11 nil, while Div 1B suffered a 6 nil defeat. Div 1A headed into halftime locked at 1 all, but unfortunately couldn’t keep the momentum going, falling 5-1 at full time. Our Div 2 Women created a few good opportunities but couldn’t quite find the back of the net, going down 2 nil.

Both our women’s teams have the weekend off, so all eyes turn to the men’s sides as they look to bounce back 💚

Our men’s sides are back on the road this Saturday as they head to Newton to take on Rostrevor across all grades. Our Women’s Div 2 side return this Sunday for their Round 1 catch-up match against MetroStars at Klemzig. Meanwhile, our Div 5 women have the weekend off with a bye.
