🔴⚫️⚪️ VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION POST 🔴⚫️⚪️

As a club, we would like to take a moment to sincerely thank all of our amazing volunteers. From the early morning setup through to the final clean-up, your efforts ensure that everything runs smoothly both on and off the field.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gives their time each week across all areas of the club, including ground setup and oval preparation, our BBQ crew, canteen staff, team managers, coaches and assistant coaches, committee members, and every extra helping hand who steps in whenever needed.

Your time, energy, and commitment are the heartbeat of this club. Simply put, we couldn’t do it without you.

A special moment for the club this weekend as we celebrate an A Grade debut against Morphett Vale in a massive day for the club - Heritage Round / Beach Boys Day.

Congratulations to Nic Paparella, who will pull on the A Grade jumper for the first time.

Nic returns home after a few years of playing college baseball in the United States.

The Paparella name is well known at the club, with Nic being the son of former A Grade player Mark Paparella, continuing a proud family connection to Christies Beach Football Club.

Debuts are always special, and it’s a proud moment to see Nic following in his father’s footsteps.

A huge thank you to Vili's for their continued support of the Saints Family as our Sponsor of the Round.

Vili's have been a fantastic supporter of our club, supplying the pastries and baked goods that keep our players, volunteers, supporters and visitors fuelled throughout our home game days.

This weekend kicks off on Friday night with our U11 Reds taking on Happy Valley at 7:30pm. Then join us on Saturday as we celebrate 60 completed seasons of senior football, with our A Grade proudly wearing our special Heritage Guernsey's featuring the names of every player to have represented Christies Beach at A Grade level. The guernseys will then be auctioned off on Saturday night following the game.

The celebrations continue with our FREE Karaoke Night from 7:30pm – all welcome! Bring your mates, pick a song and help us celebrate a special day in our club's history.

Saturday 13th June, we invite all past and present players, coaches, volunteers, members, supporters and community members to join us as we celebrate 60 completed seasons of senior football at Christies Beach Football Club.

As part of the day, our A Grade side will proudly wear a one-off Heritage Guernsey featuring the names of every player to have represented Christies Beach at A Grade level — honouring the generations who have helped build our club.

🔴⚪️⚫️ King's Birthday Honours Recognition 🔴⚪️⚫️

The Christies Beach Football Club is incredibly proud to congratulate our Patron, Paul Daly, on being awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2026 King's Birthday Honours List.

This prestigious recognition acknowledges Paul's outstanding service to Australian Rules Football and the Onkaparinga community over many decades.

Paul's contribution to our club has been extraordinary. From playing 208 senior games, to serving as President, Secretary, Treasurer, Board Member and now Patron, his commitment has helped shape Christies Beach Football Club into the club we are today.

Paul has also been instrumental in driving the growth of female football and inclusive football programs, creating opportunities for more people in our community to be involved in the game.

A Life Member of both Christies Beach Football Club and the Southern Football League, Paul's dedication, leadership and passion for community football have left a lasting impact across the region.

On behalf of everyone at CBFC, congratulations Paul on this incredibly well-deserved honour. We thank you for your years of service and the legacy you continue to build for future generations.
