Thought I would make a post to officially announce that I have RETIRED from outdoor bootcamps and CHF Bootcamps have shut down INDEFINITELY here in BlakesCrossing.
After 7 years of late nights, running 2 businesses, multiple 8 week challenges, giving up my Sundays for group hikes, training up 5 other coaches, donating to many charitys, being nominated in the top 10 fitness trainers in South Australia and dragging my kids out on a Saturday morning so people could have an outlet, I'm happy to say I'm ready to walk away and continue on with my other persuits, mainly as being a full time personal trainer, who gets to go home for dinner every night.
Thousands of people trained at CHF, lives were changed, many friends ships were made and while there were some bad times at the end, there were a lot of good times along the way.
People don't understand the time and effort that went into running , the impact it put on me personally and mentally, but I kept a smile, kept putting on my brave face and kept giving people an option to train in a safe environment, and for that I'll always be proud of myself for.
When I first started, it was just me and Dave doing outdoor bootcamps in the north, now there's 8+ others around which I'm happy to have help inspired to start doing the same.
Maybe one day in the future I'll start outdoor fitness again in a different part of town, but for now CHF BOOTCAMPS are permanently closed here in the north.
Thank you to everyone who was apart of this wild ride.
Goodluck in life β€οΈ
I wish every other outdoor bootcamp owner and fitness trainer the best of luck, keep helping people and never forget how lucky you are to be able to do that.
That's me done π
Stay strong everyone, Craigo out βοΈ
