We're on the hunt for anyone interested in coaching our U8 & U10 Tee Ball program, email us now at [email protected]

Our junior program is a huge part of our club and it starts from Tee Ball up. There will be 4 come and try nights starting 5.30pm Friday September 25, continuing Friday nights October 2nd, 9th and 16th. Games will then start on Friday October 30th at 6pm.

If you are available 5.30pm on Friday nights and up for coaching in this program, let us now asap!

And for the parents: If your child is keen to give baseball a go or is coming back to play another season, we can't wait to see you at any of these upcoming nights!

📣 Call out for some helping hands at the club tomorrow anytime between 9am and 2pm for ground maintenance.

We'd love a couple trailers to help move some dolomite, so please let us know if you have one available and are able to bring it along.

This is a great way to mark off some volunteer time. The more help the better, thank you in advance!

Many of you know my baseball story. The next chapter has me being invited to compete with L'Aces (Lady Aces) at PanPacs on the Gold Coast in November. So I'm helping with the fundraising effort whilst also demonstrating the Lucky Squares fundraising platform Organised by L'Aces Baseball.

WELCOME BACK Dayton!

Join us in welcoming back Dayton (DJ) Mitchell to the Hawks for season 2026/27. DJ departed the Hawks after the 2020/21 season for Sturt for 3 seasons including premiership success in 2023/24 before heading to Port Adelaide for 2 seasons.

DJ brings a big presence in the box and will give us left handed power to complement our batting line up.

We are very excited to have DJ back in the Hawks colours for season 26/27!

Juniors Come and Try - if your child is thinking about giving baseball a go come down and try for FREE!

There will be a map of the facilities at the front of our clubrooms to help indicate training diamonds per age group.

Our Junior Baseball Director will also be able to field questions early beforehand and after the sessions as he'll be coaching during the sessions.

You don't need anything — just rock up, have a try and have some fun! Bring a friend, bring the family and see what being a Hawk is all about.

Today, 18th August, is Vietnam Veterans’ Day marking the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan in 1966. We honour the members of our SDBC community along with all Australians who served in the Vietnam War, and remember with gratitude those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
